GLOBAL RESPONSE NEEDED URGENTLY

The human specie stands at a point in time when a common enemy hunts after its existence. The entire response cutting across homes, societies, countries, continents has defined partially what our stand as a people could be.

It’s funny though that we are rising up this strong against an enemy this young when many an enemy quite old still grips hard at our throats. In regards to the COVID 19 pandemic, the global response has been commendable, yet questionable. Should we only take such measures in times when the death toll rises above our own projections when too many people or countries become affected?.

Hunger and wars are common enemies of the entire human race. They can both be located in every corner of society one either walks into or walks pass by. The two have deeply plagued a larger portion of the populace than can be imagined.

It is only just if we put up a relentless standstill to the scourges that hunt and hurt our today. Not paying due attention to those elements which have scourged us days, years, decades, centuries, and millennia before the PRESENT is only being unjust to ourselves. Fighting today’s fears is routine, planning a fight against nightmares of tomorrow is actual wisdom. Tomorrow would surely surface and whatever we don’t tackle NOW or hadn’t tackled yesterday would certainly come into a replay in ways that could and surely would fall into larger chunks of proportion. If we unitedly conquer a sudden enemy today, it would be much easier for us a people to stand up against one or many which have been in existence for moments in time by TOMORROW.

If only CORRUPTION, CRIME, HATE, PREJUDICE, WARS, and HUNGER are being tackled in the same manner as CORONAVIRUS, PEACE would no more seem an enemy but would rather draw closer by the hour. It would gradually become easily located a step, a door or two away; it would become ACHIEVABLE.
